1. Weekly lettings are from 3pm Friday to 10am the following Friday. Short Breaks are also available and begin 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.
2. A deposit of £80.00 is required to confirm each booking. Deposits are non-refundable except as indicated in Condition 11 below, but would be transferred to an alternative date. The remainder must be paid 8 weeks before your holiday commences. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, the amount must be paid in full.
3. Non-payment of the balance of the total holiday cost by the date due shall be deemed to be cancellation of the booking by the Hirer. In the event of cancellation by the Hirer after full payment has been made, no portion of the payment is refundable unless the period in question is re-let.
4. There is a 3% surcharge for the use of a credit card, sorry no American Express. In the event of a refund where the Hirer is at fault a £2.50 administration fee will be deducted from a returned payment onto any credit or debit card.
5. No smoking anywhere inside the cottage.
6. All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the Hirer, and their cost shall be refundable on demand. However, minor damages or breakages will not normally be charged.
7. The Hirer is responsible for the property and expected to take all reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils etc should be left clean and tidy as should the property at the end of the holiday period.
8. Baggage and personal belongings are at the Hirer risk at all times, and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents. Please ensure you are covered by your own holiday/car insurance.
9. All information is given in good faith and every endeavour is made to ensure it is correct. However, no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage resulting from such information.
10. The Hirer is responsible for any act, neglect or default on their part and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience to persons arising from the letting.
11. If, for any reason, the property becomes unavailable through events beyond the Owners' control (for example fire, theft, damage, delay of building works, drought, interruption of utility supplies or similar) then it may be necessary to cancel the booking. If no acceptable alternative can be found, then all monies paid will be refundable in full, but the Hirer will have no further claims against the Owner. |
